El Departamento de Español de la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM, Santo Domingo) quiere contratar doctores jóvenes en Lengua y Literatura Española para trabajar desde agosto de 2013.

Se ofrece trabajar a tiempo completo (y con vocación de permanencia) en un Departamento en expansión, que cuenta entre sus miembros con doctores por la Universidad Pompeu Fabra, la Vanderbilt University y la New York University. Además, el próximo curso abrirán en el Departamento diferentes líneas de investigación, seminarios y congresos (nacionales e internacionales).

La docencia se realizaría en Grado (asignaturas de Lengua) y Postgrado (el Máster en Literatura Comparada y el Doctorado en Literatura que comenzarán este agosto).

Qualifications

Two Spanish Teacher Positions in an Indian School India

TGES, an international English medium school in Rajkot, Gujarat, is looking for two Spanish teachers to join our multilingual team!
The role of the teacher will be to teach beginners Spanish to grades 4 upwards (age 9+), with a view to beginning a Spanish immersion program next year.

We are looking for TWO native Spanish-speakers. Experience teaching abroad, especially in India, is preferable but not compulsory. The candidate must be dynamic, motivated, and able to adapt to the Indian way of life.
A good knowledge of English is important as you will be the first Spanish speakers at the school!
The contract is valid for one year from 1st June 2013 (or as soon after as possible) with the opportunity to renew after 12 months if both parties are satisfied.

Monthly salary is 100000 Indian rupees, or 1500 euros per month
