Position at Ingram Micro CloudAs product manager you’ll be part of a team managing the Ingram Micro Cloud platform/product (also known as Odin Automation) and its contribution to the business, i.e. identifying opportunities and projecting a roadmap to evolve current existing capabilities and creating the new ones leading to
increased competitive advantage.
You’ll be in charge of researching the market and our customer base for new opportunitites, ideas and products to deliver future value and profitability for the company. You are a curious professional who enjoys spending time listening to customers demands, own contacts and other industry sources to find unique innovative solutions to unsolved problems.You possess a well balanced blend of technical and business experience, always think strategically, first to set a vision and have the determination and drive to deliver on it.
You’re an oustanding communicator, who can interact with engineers, helping them understand how the product needs to be created; marketing, instructing them about the segmentation to be used, positioning of the product and benefits to be pitched; sales, helping them leverage the value of the product and customers and prospects, whether in key conversations, contenders or events.

JOB RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage the whole product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Own the product PNL making sure every effort leads to sustained profitability and healthy return of investment
  • Own the product roadmap gaining support for the plan
  • Produce the necessary supporting documentation both for internal and external consumption about the product
  • Scan for market opportunities out of cloud industry trends, customer’s demands, partnerships and others. Have a clear view of the Competitor’s Landscape
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Own the roadmap for the product, setting clear deliverables in a short and mid term fashion. Defend the product plan

Whenever needed in front of internal stakeholders or external parties s.a. customers and prospects

  • Manage a healthy relationship with Engineering to provide them with details about what needs to be build, using also their input as a source of inspiration for future deliverables.
  • Closely collaborate with Product Marketing to provide product intel, positioning and support to go to market activities
  • Own and maintain all the product documentation and materials who are the source of truth for the product and input for the rest of the areas.

Minimum Requirements

Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computing or IT related Postgrade in cloud technologies will be valuedFluent professional english both spoken and written.
Any other language will be a plus At least 3 years of proven experience in product management for cloud or digital/internet solutions/products Experience in international environments
To be valued experience in Telcos, Hosters or MSP service providers Strong technical knowledge of the cloud ecosystem and technologies
Experience with OSS/BSS Systems will be valued
