¿QUÉ HARÁS?

SGTO is looking for a DATA DEVELOPER based in our MADRID or CANTABRIA office.

As a Data Developer, you will be integrated into the CoE where your mission will be to develop data management pipelines and components aligned with CTO policies. You will develop, test, scale and deploy components that sustain a global financial product.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

  • Design and develop ETL jobs in big data environments
  • Build and implement dashboards in data Visualization tools
  • Deploy assets using CI/CD pipelines
  • Reuse existing components, as well as define and propose new reusable components
  • Build sophisticated yet simple unit and integration tests, be responsible for your software (in a good way)
  • Scale up your software, make it faster, make it secure, you will make it great and be proud of it
  • Write batch programs and event oriented pipelines
  • Extraction, transformation and loading of data into the data lake (Cloudera, Azure, AWS)
  • Experience in building dashboards and scorecards (PowerBI, Tableau…)

EXPERIENCE

  • +1/2 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer (NOT as a data scientist).
  • Professional experience on Big Data projects in Cloudera, Azure (Databricks, Snowflake, Purview…) or AWS.
  • Experience on Data Modeling
  • Hands-on experience writing and testing high quality software

  • ELK experience
  • CI/CD pipelines in any tool
  • Experience in event-driven applications

EDUCATION

  • Degree on Engineering, Technology Sciences or Mathematics.
  • Any specialization or sound experience on subjects related to Technology engineering.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Cloudera, Azure, AWS
  • Big Data Tools (Databricks/Spark/…)
  • PowerBI, Tableau or similar
  • CI/CD
  • Languages: English and Spanish (fluid written and oral)
