Position: Quality Specialist

University Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, food engineering or chemistry  engineering.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

It is responsible for the coordination and/or implementation of all Quality activities in the area, ensuring Food Safety and legal compliance as well as the implementation and compliance with Nestlé standards, guaranteeing the requirements for the release of the finished product and maintaining both the preference and confidence of our consumers and customers

 YOUR DAY TO DAY…

 – Coordinate the implementation of all Quality standards associated with the area, both general and specific to the category.

– Implement, follow and verify the NGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

– Manage and update the QMS (Quality monitoring Scheme) both in document and SAP system.

– Be part of the cleaning validation team, defining with the team the critical points to verify/secure depending on the Food Safety and/or Hygiene risks.

– Be part of the HACCP team of the area, ensuring that all possible food safety risks are assessed.

– Coordinate tastings of the area’s products and witness changes, if applicable.

– Define together with the relevant CTAG and/or according to standards, the sampling plan associated to each product and in each part of the process.

– Review and approve all new product configuration workflows or product changes in SAP, assigning the corresponding release rules and inspection plans.

– Review and approve the Great of the allergen profile of the products, based on the allergens of each raw material that constitutes it, as well as the possible cross-contaminations of the line to guarantee a correct labelling of the finished product.

– Change Management, coordinating and reviewing the impact and needs from a Quality and Food Safety point of view of the change to be implemented.

– Coordinate hygiene and pathogen monitoring of the area.

– Coordinate complaint investigation, coordinate area quality audits and participate in crisis management.

-Represent the quality function in new projects ensuring compliance with quality standards.

 DOES YOUR PROFILE FIT?

University Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, food engineering or chemistry engineering.

Knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention, Environment, Quality and Food Safety.

Knowledge in integrated management systems

Experience in Quality Assurance (2 years)

Knowledge on Certifications (ISO, Halal, Kosher…)

Experience with change management, non-conformances, deviations.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of HACCP hazard management tools.

Globe and CAT experience is valued

Computer skills, with demonstrable experience in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and in the use of digital tools such as Power BIA.

High level Spanish language

High level English language. C1 is valued.
