Resumen
We are looking for an HSE Specialist. This position is based in Torrelavega site (GBU Soda Ash) and the successful candidate will report to SHEQ Manager with the assigned main tasks:
- Assist his/her manager in the projects and programs lead/carried out by the Plant SHEQ Unit.
- Help to deploy the HSE policies, objectives and improvement plans.
- Develop and deploy site HSE risk assessments and risk management plans and site emergency plans.
- Maintain and improve the existing HSE processes. Define and implement HSE procedures and rules.
- Maintain updated and interpret relevant local, national, and international HSE legislation and regulations.
- Train or assist in training of employees and subcontractors in HSE matters.
- Follow up HSE management systems.

- Proven written&verbal communication skills. Prepare and deliver clear, brief presentations and reports.
- Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work independently.

- Action-oriented, with a sense of urgency and responsiveness in meeting the business needs.
Profile
- University degree in Science and/or Technology.
- More than 5 years of experience in HSE areas (Occupational Safety, Process Safety, Hygiene, Environment) on an industrial chemical site.
- Spanish native speaker. English fluent in writing and speaking. French language is a plus.
- Multi-task, team oriented in task completion, enjoy being in a support role.
- Open minded, collaborative and with ability to impact and influence.
- Achievement driven and to take initiative.
- Experience in Quality Management systems is also desirable.
- Available for international travelling.
