JOB SUMMARY:
The Key Account Manager – for the Tyre & Automotive sectors – will be responsible for developing and driving sales of Products & Solutions to Key accounts in Iberia, making visits, prospects, providing product selection, quotes, among others. She/He will act as the main contact for the portfolio of assigned key customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Win new business and maintain current business with Customers; propose best products or solutions to fulfill Customers Applications needs.
• Work on Specifications (mainly related to Car Industry) improving customer relationship.
• Develop strategies to sell applicable product lines in conjunction with sales management in order to achieve the defined annual sales target.
• Visit customer facilities, maintain contacts and consults in order to secure sales to existing and potential customers.
• Analyze and research pertinent information in order to respond to Customer inquiries regarding product features and performance, product application, product substitution and special application requests.
• Work with Global& EU BDM by segment
• Negotiate orders, lead time, prices and payment terms.
• Travel of 50-60% of the time within territory required.
JOB PROFILE:
• Technical Degree in Automation, and general know-how in Pneumatics and Fluids.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, pedagogic, good listening skills
• Must be proficient in Spanish language, and in English (read/write/speak);
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial sales environment.
• Experience in fluid power and/or fluid control particularly pneumatics, automation, motion, sensors,
controls, vision, valves or electronic drives preferred
• Automation solution oriented – ability to adjust to different customer requirements.
• Field sales force, key account management, project management experience is desired.
• Demonstrated ability of working in a matrix (by Segment) organization.
