Our team is currently looking to hire an HR Manager for Spain who’s primary responsibilities is to maintain and enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The HR Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead and direct the Human Resource team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business across Spain
- Employee Relations – managing absences, disciplinary, grievances and sickness.
- Recruitment & retention – managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity, advertising campaigns and career planning
- Learning and Development – Plan and deliver a robust learning and development program relevant to the Spanish business and using the LB resources effectively
- Manage the benefits program ensuring we are providing the best support to our staff on a cost effective platform
- Compensation management – Manage all aspects of compensation management including annual review process, salary banding and rewards management
- In conjunction with the HR Director International, ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with LB policies and the Countries Labour Laws. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies.
- Working with senior managers, coaching and advising them on all employee issues
- Hear and resolve employee grievances and counselling employees and supervisors
- Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
- Build a robust HR team in Spain by providing coaching, training and support to local representation.

- Ability to implement Country’s Labor Laws.
- Ensuring that all reports and deliverables are submitted on their due dates.

Ten years of relevant experience in a related field with a minimum of three years working in similar position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or other relevant qualification.
