Resumen
We search for a PhD candidate to investigate how dorso-ventral (DV) patterning is established in the developing limb.
The DV organization of the limb morphology is crucial for its function yet, little is known about how it is implemented during morphogenesis. Lmx1b is the dorsal limb determinant, as it is both necessary and sufficient to generate dorsal morphologies.
Our goal is to unravel Lmx1b regulation and function, which despite its relevance remain poorly defined.
The research is highly multidisciplinary integrating genomic analyses, mouse genetics and in vitro and in vivo functional examination of regulatory elements.
