Resumen

Responsibilities:

– The position requires the selected candidate to have a strong theoretical digital communication foundation and to be extremely hands-on
– Development of transmit/receive algorithms for wireless applications and software defined radios
– Participate in all design phases of the product development lifecycle: requirements analysis, high level design, detailed design, coding and test definition.
– Provide support in system test, integration, production and warranty.
– Writing design documents, test plans, test reports and system documentation.
– Participate in technical business development activities: meeting with prospective customers and contributing to new business proposals.

Mandatory:

– Digital Signal Processing experience for wireless communications
– Modeling and simulation of communication systems
– Strong analysis and mathematical skills
– Excellent time management, scheduling and organizational skills.
– Ability to work well independently, to complete tasks and drive projects to closure
– Ability to shift from one project to another in a dynamic and agile work environment.
– Good oral and written communication skills

Desirable experience in several of the following:

– VHDL
– Software Defined Radio
– C/C++, Matlab
– MIMO algorithms
– Design and/or testing of RF communication Systems
– Countermeasures against RF communications Systems (jamming, spoofing, replay attacks…)
– Familiarity with a variety of modulation and coding schemes
– Experience in prototyping of digital communication systems
– Frequency Hop communication systems
– DSSS
– Embedded software/firmware based systems
