Experience
- Must have 3 to 5 years, experience with Windows System Administration, to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming.
- Must have 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with Windows servers, Active Directory and AD infrastructure – managing, configuring and troubleshooting in an enterprise multi-domain environment.
- Experience to perform periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities.
- Experience working with computer hardware, software, and local area networks
- Experience working with Windows 7, Windows 8, 10
- Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, SCCM, SCOM
- Experience with Exchange 2013, Office 365, ADFS
- Experience working on Hypervisor, deploying virtual machines and managing them.
- Knowledge of Domains, gateways, routers, switches,
Responsibilities:
- Implement, installs, configure monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing and new server operating systems.
- Diagnose hardware, network and software problems, and replace defective components to maintain proper functioning
- Experience in buildout for new infrastructure and migrations.
- Experience with automation of repetitive administration tasks
- Maintains optimal system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.
- Responsible for tests and implements effective backup and restore techniques.
- Installing and maintaining software updates periodically
- Stay current on any related technologies and performs other duties as assigned.
- Support internal staff on their regular IT activities like Email, IP phone, Laptop and Printers.
- Functional understanding of Cloud technologies like AZURE
- Knowledge of the IT service management process a plus
