Experience

  • Must have 3 to 5 years, experience with Windows System Administration, to include user account administration, installation and configuration of workstations and peripherals, client-server support, software and hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and shell script programming.
  • Must have 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with Windows servers, Active Directory and AD infrastructure – managing, configuring and troubleshooting in an enterprise multi-domain environment.
  • Experience to perform periodic system back-ups and developing/documenting standard operating procedures for these activities.
  • Experience working with computer hardware, software, and local area networks
  • Experience working with Windows 7, Windows 8, 10
  • Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, SCCM, SCOM
  • Experience with Exchange 2013, Office 365, ADFS
  • Experience working on Hypervisor, deploying virtual machines and managing them.
  • Knowledge of Domains, gateways, routers, switches,

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, installs, configure monitors, troubleshoots, and evaluates existing and new server operating systems.
  • Diagnose hardware, network and software problems, and replace defective components to maintain proper functioning
  • Experience in buildout for new infrastructure and migrations.
  • Experience with automation of repetitive administration tasks
  • Maintains optimal system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; escalating application problems to vendor.
  • Responsible for tests and implements effective backup and restore techniques.
  • Installing and maintaining software updates periodically
  • Stay current on any related technologies and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Support internal staff on their regular IT activities like Email, IP phone, Laptop and Printers.
  • Functional understanding of Cloud technologies like AZURE
  • Knowledge of the IT service management process a plus
