SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Technical Sales will provide Technical Support for Valve Islands & Proportional technology products to the Iberian Sales force; contribute for developing Sales of Products & Solutions, providing product selection, quotations and Solutions design; provide hot-line support to Customers to guarantee satisfaction.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Internally support Outside Sales to win new business with Customers or Distributors; propose best products or solutions to fulfill Customers Applications needs
• Support technical & economic arguments for Sales & Customers
• Train the ASCO Sales Force and Distributors Specialists on Valve Islands and Proportional technology Products, manage technical seminars at Customers
• Maintain ASCO demonstration equipments
• Follow-up Clients requiring specific support due to criticality of technology and internally support Customers at installation and start-up when necessary
• Ensure technical support « Hot line » level 2 to Customers and distributors; discuss and solve, technical issues and malfunctions; report this activity internally; detect, analyze and report repetitive issues to Product Marketing and Quality
• Assist After Sales when necessary
• Validate compatibility of ASCO products on different brands controllers, debug new boards or test new functionalities, at suppliers or Client systems, with ASCO equipment eventually
• Develop & maintain his own technical competence at the edge of the Technology and products

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Technical Degree in Automatism, and general knowhow in Pneumatics and Fluids.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, pedagogic, good listening skills
• Must be proficient in Spanish language, and have middle level in English (read/write/speak);
• Proactive, responsive and high-energy style.
• General experience in the automation sales or machine design/building markets.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in engineering and /or industrial sales environment.
• Direct and interactive computer skills and electronic business interfaces.
• Experience in fluid power and/or fluid control particularly pneumatics, automation, motion, sensors, controls, vision, valves or electronic drives preferred
• Field sales force, key account management, project management experience is desired.
• Exposure or demonstrated involvement to account development with a long selling cycle
