Role Overview

We are looking for:

Technical support for existing units and assets, collaborating with local/corporate teams, evaluating new projects or modifications in the energy and utilities domains, proposing improvements for reducing specific consumptions and environmental footprint, spreading new development between sites.
Participation on several of the projects of the Energy Transition roadmap in their technical aspects.
Technology watch on future and renewable technologies applications.

You will bring:

Master degree in Energy, Process Engineering or similar
5 years’ experience in field process industrial power plants and its operation and industrial assets energy audits.
Knowledge, expertise and/or experience:
- Steam generation by:
  - Classical fossil fuel boilers: natural gas, solid fuels.
  - Gas turbine technologies together Heat Recovery Steam Generator
  - Renewables (biomass) boilers technology
  - Waste to Energy plants
  - Renewable Heat Generation (solar)
  - Heat pumps
  - Nuclear SMR (Small Modular Reactors)
- Steam networks and its distribution
- Electricity production by:
  - Backpressure or condensation steam turbines
  - Gas turbine
  - Renewables technologies – PV; Wind.
- Water treatments for the several qualities required by the process: clarified water, softening, demineralized and reverse osmosis technologies
- Compressed Air production and distribution for process and instrumentation
- Flue-Gases Treatment units
- Future renewable technologies in current development phases: H2, biogas, electrification, heat pumps, energy storage for heat and electricity, …
Expertise on:
- Projects Management
- Industrial Energy Audits
- Optimization on current energy assets
