English language assistant Cantabria

Job Overview

Our client is urgently seeking to cover several positions as English language assistant within the government schools in Cantabria (north of Spain).

They are looking for native English-speakers, who would be interested and motivated to cope with school teachers and deal with small children (primary and elementary school).

These positions are directed to English-speakers who want to acquire first-hand knowledge in the world of education, as well as to enjoy a unique experience of life in Spain.

Benefits:

• A salary of 960 € gross / 879 € net salary aprox every month per 30 hours a week
• Whole academic year 2015-2016, includes paid holidays (Christmas, Easter and bank holidays)
• Social security and liability insurance
• Help from client (to find a flat, to get a NIE, etc.)

Requirements:

• Active and dynamic trained professionals with experience in the educational field
• 120-hour TEFL certificate
• Fluent in English
• Experience teaching English to elementary school students will be highly valued
• Teaching English as a foreign language accreditation will be valued
• Displaying an appropriate behavior always as role model (including a commitment not to smoke, drink alcohol or use illegal substances within or under the influence of while in the School)
