Descripción del empleo:
- Tests, locates and repairs on board communications terminal problems by interpreting customer complaints, service orders, circuit diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Assists and teaches others to install, rearrange and remove equipment and associated wiring.
- Reviews and corrects work order information and receipt of all necessary equipment and information.
- Reviews test procedures and makes the necessary adjustments on MTN equipment.
- Ensures that routine preventive and virtual maintenance on assigned ships are completed regularly.
- Maintains tools, test equipment and travel documents: ensures that all necessary certifications are up to date for readiness to travel at all times.
- Completes required paperwork and documentation of work in a timely manner.
- Provides remote troubleshooting and support to customers and co-workers.
- Adapts to change easily and strives to improve performance of self and others.
- Any and all other duties as may be assigned
