Ingeniero/a Torrelavega

As part of our development and the new Solvay One Planet program, we are looking for a New Business Developer in our development team for our by-products in Europe.

The position will be based in Torrelavega plant (Cantabria region in Spain).

Main Mission: You will contribute to the commercial development of our different by-products such as fine limestone, incuits, ashes or non-standard (carbonate + bicarbonate). More specifically, you will create a new market for our site in Spain (Torrelavega) and support the team in other factories in Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• Better understand and assess customer needs and opportunities around the plant.
• Generate interest and participate in negotiations with new customers in the most promising market segments previously defined
• Support the analysis of Solvay’s competitive positioning (data collection, regulations, calls for tenders, etc.)
• Work with the site and the technical team to improve the quality of the by-products and adapt them if necessary to new market demands.
• Development of marketing and communication content for customers
