Logistic Specialist m/f (Torrelavega Plant) Solvay

We are looking for a Logistic Specialist. This position is based in Torrelavega site (GBU Soda Ash) and the successful candidate will report to Logistic Manager with the assigned main tasks:

• To develop and implement new projects within the Logistic Department.
• Assist his/her manager in the projects and programs lead/carried out by the Site Logistics Department.
• Help to deploy the Logistics policies, objectives and improvement plans.
• Maintain and improve the existing Logistics processes.
• Define and implement Logistic procedures and rules.
• Train or assist in training of employees and subcontractors in Logistics matters.
• Multi-task, team oriented in task completion, enjoy being in a support role.

Profile

• Graduates with an academic degree in Industrial Engineering or Process Technology.
• More than 3 years of experience in Logistic and/or Industrial activities.
• Knowledge of SAP Systems, Microsoft tools, Gmail and Google Apps are desirable.
• Fluent verbal and written in Spanish and English. Knowledge of French language is also desirable.
• Achievement driven, collaborative and take initiatives.
• Available for international travel.
