Sr Software Engineer, QA Santander

• Process oriented and creative thinker being able to provide creative solutions. Generate Test Plan from PRD.
• The position requires prior experience testing BSS products in any of the following areas: Service Fulfilment, Service Assurance, Invoice Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Customer Self Service.
• The position requires 2+ years of experience in Automation testing utilizing Java, Selenium, continuous integrationframework  or  BDD implementation using Cucumber and/or Gherkin

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create Test Plan, execute a test, evaluate and maintain test cases for JAVA based web applications.
• Experience of working with  DevOps culture
• Maintain automation regression test suites and execute the same to ensure code is functioning as designed.
• Automate the functionality early in the development cycle using Java, Selenium, continuous integration using Jenkins-Maven-Git, BDD using Cucumber
• Participate in the Brainstorming session with the Business Analysts and development team to understand how changes in the software product affect the testing.
• Understand the business value and justification of each feature and arrive at comprehensive test plan.
• Tests and troubleshoots issue of the product by checking the logs and the database for the web application.
• Understanding the Test Automation framework and evolve the same.
• Create bug detail report with detail description and steps to reproduce the bug and log it to Bug tracking tool.
