About the position
Your primary purpose is to achieve sales targets in the North of Spain through pro-active reseller management and recruitment. You will work with channel partners to close and fulfill new business and identify new sales channels and larger opportunities for TomTom Business Solutions. You are an experienced Account Manager with the responsibility to make these TomTom fleet solutions a beautiful commercial success.
In this position you will….
- Act as TomTom sales ambassador, maintaining focus, using best practice and driving top of mind awareness for our fleet management solutions in the local market;
- Achieve sales targets through the channel partners in the North of Spain;
- Build a network of high performing channel partners;
- Support resellers to close larger sales opportunities with backing of the Sales Director of Spain;
- Continuously review competition and define positioning;
- Define & manage key partners for sales, distribution, and other cooperation strategies;
- Be spokesman for the sales in your region;
- Report directly into the Sales Director of Spain
About you in details
You are a dynamic, highly motivated and friendly individual with a strong background in Sales. You are self-starter but also a team player. You are passionate about building a local sales organization from scratch and find new and innovative ways for the fleet management solutions to go to market. You should be proactive, autonomous, able to work remotely, willing to travel as this position is home-based.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial skill set with preferably a Telematics or Telco background and/or rental industry, software industry;
- A real sales hunter and enjoy closing deals ( incl. cold calling, ‘’door knocking’’ and innovative marketing techniques);
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience with a solid track record of achieving successful sales growth;
- Thorough understanding of the Spanish B2B market with a network of potential sales partners/prospects;
- Already living and working in this region;
- Strong communication and influencing skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of the channel partner organization and within the own organization;
- Technical understanding and ability to demonstrate technical products to experts;
- Long-term perspective on developing the market and identifying the most suitable channels;
- Driven and ambitious with real passion for our products and market;
- Experience in working within Matrix organizations.
- Strategic planning skills and the ability to implement plans on regional & regional level;
- Languages; native or very fluent in Spanish and fluent written and spoken English.
