Important International Manufacturer company for automotive and industrial field is looking for a:
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
North of Spain – Attractive Package
Reports to the Director of Operations, the main role will be:
- Ensure that the continuous improvement strategy aligns with company´s strategic objectives.
- Coordinate project selection and prioritization and assists in the charteringscoping of kaizens and improvement projects.
- Facilitate lean deployment and conduct on-site workshops and kaizens to support this deployment.
- Facilitate Kaizen sessions including; planning, execution, and follow-up.
- Train key continuous improvement concepts to associates as needed.
- Develop and deploy statistical quality control methods, both from a design and manufacturing perspective.
- Design, develop, and implement a continuous improvement roadmap for the company.
- Help teams assess overall process with the goal of applying continuous improvement concepts to optimize the process.
- Develop internal audit schedules as it relates to 5Ss and kaizen/project sustainment.
- Develop and train kaizen zealots to help lead kaizen activity.
We require an engineer with at least 5 years of experience in implementation Lean/Six Sigma tools and philosophy in industrial and automotive field.
Proven ability to utilize continuous improvement to drive tangible results, excellent communication and instruction skills, familiarity with various manufacturing processes, Hands-on experience implementing Lean manufacturing concepts.
Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management. Ability to effectively lead a team to achieve sustainable improvements.
Spanish and English languages is required.
