Our client was founded in 1950’s in Barcelona and has become a leader in Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector, with subsidiaries and distribution in over 90 countries all over the globe. The products are all manufactured in their own factories based in Barcelona China.
Empleo:
For one of our client, a multinational company founded in Spain that produces fast moving consumer goods, we are currently looking for a Managing Director of Sales Marketing subsidiary in China with Excellent level of English.
As a Managing Director, your objective will be to convert its key product to the leading brand in Chinese market.
You main responsibilities will be:
- Develop and implement the Business Strategy and Business Plan (pricing and promotional policy, product launch) for Sales and Marketing of commercial Chinese subsidiary.
- P&L management.
- Lead the team of marketing, sales and customer service (around 15 people).
- Find new partnerships and develop new business opportunities.
- Define and enhance the existing Distribution network.
Experience:
- 3 years of managing experience in Fast Moving Consumer Good subsidiary.
- 3 years of proven experience in managing commercial and marketing teams.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager is valuable.
- Experience opening new markets and impulsing consumer channel is valuable.
Qualifications:
- University degree (preferably in Business Administration).
- Business level of English.
- Knowledge of Chinese will be a plus.
Soft skills:
- Highly motivated with a drive to sell and reach targets.
- Professional communication skills with a high success rate in building and maintaining business relationships.
- Must have charisma to form and lead the team.
- Analytical and business orientation.
Other:
- Available to tackle a project for at least 3 years living in Shanghai.
- Must be willing to travel within the Chinese territory frequently (support sales team, factory tours).
