S & C specializes in web-based technologies providing solutions in the field of wirelesssensors and the development of Software for the control of remote systems. FP7 project“Scanergy”, a scalable & modular system for energy trading between prosumers(http://www.scanergy-project.eu) to develop a scalable and modular system for energytrading between prosumers using smart meters.
The software and ICT modules will implement innovative simulation and predictionmodels, both online and offline, as wellas optimization and learning algorithms that will leverage a more effective and rationalusage of energy resources available in a city. The project is in collaboration with theCOMO lab of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium.
To work within R&Ddepartment in a team of software engineers, dedicated to convert latest research resultsinto innovative products in order to keep S&C’s product pipeline full. We look for acreative software engineer interested in utilizing latest technologies in a range ofapplications, who participates in all phases of the life cycle of the software product,creating innovative solutions within R&D projects.
At least 4 years of experience in:
ASP.NET C# (webforms, mvc, wcf); Entity Framework and Linq; SQL Server 2008;
Team Foundation Server; HTML, CSS, jQuery; IIS 7; Experience in developingSemantics and Ontologies as well as Agile software development methodologies.
It is mandatory that the candidate has not been working in SPAIN more than 12 months inthe last 36.
Additionally, S&C greatly appreciates: Knowledge database NOSQL,Knowledge of SOA, EDA, Experience in developing applications for mobile (Android,IOS and WP8), Implementations in Cloud environments (Azure, Amazon,Rackspace,etc.). 2 years full-time contract with possibility of indefinite contract.
