This position is organized in the Quality team within the group Quality and Product Management, 26361.The main responsibility of the Quality team is to identify, address and eliminate sources of quality loss in Product Development.

We focus on;

  • · Analyse, prioritize and solve product quality issues reported in current production and the aftermarket
  • · Secure the product quality status in projects
  • · Secure knowledge transfer between product maintenance and projects

We are constantly improving our way of working as a lead in increasing our maturity according to the CMMI model.

As Senior Quality Engineer you will have a vital role in participating in a global and multi-cultural cross functional environment to secure product quality and safety.

Mission

Secure the product quality status in projects by driving that necessary quality enhancing activities are planned, executed, followed up, reported and that the outcome is managed.

Responsibilities

  • · In dialogue with the project manager secure that the Quality Assurance Plan is established
  • · Monitor and support the quality activities
  • · Analyse quality status, report, escalate and give recommendations
  • · Secure that the agreed processes are followed
  • · Identify and report best practices
  • · Improve our way of working and processes in our projects to secure an improved product quality
  • · Define long term Product Quality assurance strategies for both SW & HW in projects
  • · Improve the quality mind set in the EE organisation
  • · Educate people in quality methods and tools
  • · Lead the Quality assurance team in both the daily work and long term strategies

Qualifications

  • · MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • · Minimum three years’ experience from working with Product Quality Management methods and tools for both SW and HW
  • · Experience from project and people management in a global environment
  • · Fluent in English
  • · High business and customer focus
  • · Excellent communication skills
  • · Good social and networking skills
